John and Kristin are two of the most in love and joyful humans you will ever meet. They've been married for almost 12 years, and if you spend any amount of time around them, you would think they got married 12 days ago.
Hannah and Alex met in Jr. High. It took a few tries, but once Hannah agreed to go out with Alex, there was no looking back. The love and history between these two is palpable, and as photographers, that makes for a dream wedding day.
We LOVE lifestyle family sessions. There is nothing better than capturing families being families. We can't get enough of playroom antics and living room gymnastics performances, and if your kiddos don't like to sit still and smile on demand, we are the photographers for you!!
This wedding day was such a beautiful one. The weather was perfect, the venue was absolutely gorgeous, and the beautiful details were icing on the cake! We have never seen a groom's face light up like Andy's when he saw Whitney for the first time, and it's moments like those that remind us why we fell in love with photographing love stories.
Ben and Ashley are such a special couple. Becoming friends first, they eventually realized there was more between them, and once they started dating, it became obvious to friends and family that they were perfect for each other.
The trials and challenges John and Emily faced while planning this wedding would exhaust just about anyone. A natural disaster and surprise schedule conflicts caused two venue changes and the wedding date to be moved up a few months, but Emily & John didn't flinch; they rolled with the punches knowing that with whatever change blew their way, the one constant was their commitment to and love for each other.
This family is near and dear to our hearts. These three sweet boys, affectionately referred to by their wordsmithy mom and dad as The General, The Gentleman, and The Governor, are bursting with brains, hilarity and energy, so needless to say, photoshoots with them are the same. We dare you to look through these images and not crack a smile.
When we met Ada & Jonny, we were so excited that they wanted to do a session at an abandoned property. Although we have our list of "go-to" locations, we are always looking for new places and willing couples to shoot, and Ada suggested an abandoned house that was right up our alley. Their love for each other is evident whether they are in front of a camera or not.
This colorful family shoot tops our list of favorites, and we think you'll see why. Sarah brought one of her favorite handmade quilts, some amazing books for the kids to read and look at, and even some toys to keep those energetic kiddos happy while we clicked away. We love these sweet littles, and are so happy they braved the cold wind and smiled through chattering teeth to make their momma (and their photographers) happy. We think they might have even had a little fun.
Kieffer proposed to Ashley on a trip to Europe and are about as "in love" as any couple can be. For months, she grew her hair out in what Ashley refers to as "the long con" because she knows Kieffer loves her hair short and shaved on the side. When we met to discuss wedding details, she shooed Kieffer away from the table and excitedly told us of her plan to surprise him during their first look...
From the time Emily first contacted us, we have been anxious about their upcoming wedding in September. In spite of both Emily and John each having a CRAZY stressful day, they forged on and met us at Busiek State Park for this sweet engagement session and some s'moresy goodness. We had such a great time with these two, and even more so, we cannot wait for their big day!
