Cinco de Mayo 2018
From the moment we received Hannah's initial wedding inquiry in March of 2017 we knew there was something special about this couple. She told us about her sweet Great Dane and described her vision for the wedding day as "boho/etherial," and we were immediately intrigued. We met after exchanging a few emails and found out our hunch was right. Hannah and Alex are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. One of the many things we love about them is that they are engaged in the process. Both of them. Alex was just as involved as Hannah, making suggestions and being present in every moment. They brought ideas, suggestions, and props to every session. Oh, and a tremendous amount of fun!
Hannah and Alex met in Jr. High. It took a few tries, but once Hannah agreed to go out with Alex, there was no looking back. The love and history between these two is palpable, and as photographers, that makes for a dream wedding day. Add a gorgeous venue, a fairy tale dress, a first look with their majestic Great Dane, Doug, and some amazing, supportive family and friends, and you get what we think was actual Wedding Photographer Heaven. Alex and Hannah danced to Leon Bridges, showing off the moves they learned at Judy's Ballroom Dance Lessons, and smiling ear to ear at each other like they did all evening. In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Alex and Hannah even provided their guests with a shot of tequila and a delicious taco bar with some of the best guacamole we've had in a while.
Hannah and Alex, we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be a part of this special day. You are special people, and we are so grateful to know you!
